Committee Meeting #1

This first Committee meeting introduced the East End Rising Project and the Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Program. The BOA Program focuses on strategic revitalization planning in areas that contain a concentration of vacant, underutilized, abandoned, and suspected brownfield sites. The program is designed to engage community members in creating a vision for the future of the study area and presents opportunities to gain access to additional funding to support revitalization efforts.

Residents, business owners, and community stakeholders were invited to attend and listen in on this working Committee meeting. After the Committee concluded, the public had an opportunity to comment.
